It was a great day and a great turn out for the Walk a Mile in Their Mocs event that was sponsored by the PBP Family Violence Prevention program. Above are balloons that were released against the beautiful entry-way arch in Prairie Peoples Park.
There were 119 community members in attendance and many participated in the walk.
T-shirts marking the day were passed out to attendees.
Staff from the Tribal Victims Assistance program provided face painting for the crowd.
Members of the Tribal Police provided the hotdogs and hamburgers for the lunch.
