American Rescue Plan Indian Community Development Block Grant Imminent Threat (ICDBG-ARP IT) Citizen Participation and Comment Process

The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has published an Implementation Notice for the Indian Community Development Block Grant Imminent Threat Program (ICDBG-ARP IT) provided under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). ICDBG-ARP IT funds are made available by HUD for a variety of projects to prevent, prepare for, or respond to coronavirus for emergencies that constitute imminent threats to health and safety.

Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation proposes to utilize funding from the ICDBG-ARP IT grant program to address the Nation’s lack of adequate, reliable internet within our community. Specifically, we wish to address the growing need for high speed internet connectivity to our members for purposes such as remote learning and telehealth by purchasing materials needed to expand broadband internet.
