The Prairie Band Health Center is open Tuesday, February 9, 2021, with limited staff, to operate the COVID-19 vaccine clinic only.
Pharmacy has limited staffing to distribute essential medications as needed, patients should call ahead on the main phone number, wait times may occur due to limited staffing.
To contact the Health Center, use the main phone number, 785-966-8200, or the nursing line, 785-966-8220. Please note that not all phones will be manned during the limited staffing.
Effective immediately, the Health Center will begin Vaccination Phase 2a: If you are a member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation, 16 years of age or older and you wish to be vaccinated, contact 785-966-8220 to schedule an appointment. Leave a message with your name, date of birth, and best contact number if you are unable to get through when you call.
To date, the Prairie Band Health Center has administered a total of 1,282 vaccine doses. Of these, 576 persons have received at least one dose, and 353 persons have received both doses.
As of February 5, 2021, the Health Center has provided 755 Abbott Rapid tests, with 120 positive results and 635 negative results. Of those tested, 84.11% were negative for the coronavirus, while 15.89% were positive. To date, there have been zero positive results in February 2021.
