Pow-wow On: 22 Drums and 500 Dancers

MAYETTA:  It was a beautiful evening for the opening of the PBPN pow-wow with 22 drums and approximately 500 dancers registered to compete.  We-Ta-Se led the Grand Entry and the 2013 pow-wow royalty followed close behind with other dancers represented from many tribes across Indian Country.

Drum groups include:  Bad Moon Rising; The Boyz; Stoney Park Wolf Pack; Tomahawk Circle; Battle River; Young Buffalo Horse; Mo-Town; Thundervoice; Buc Wild; B.G.R.; Iron Boy; Rock Hill; Mile High Singers; North Bear; Crazy Spirit; Midnite Express; Ho-Chunk Station; Meskwaki Nation: Omaha Standing Eagle; Omaha Lodge; Standing Horse; and White Tail Boys.
