The annual PBPN Tornado Drill will happen today at 10:00 am in conjunction with the Statewide Drill.
1. Tribal Dispatch will sound the outdoor warning sirens to initiate the drill. (they sound for 3 minutes)
2. Weather radios will alert as well (most people can’t hear the sirens inside)
3. NOAA says due to the type of test, Weather Apps on your phone won’t alert (do you have one?)
4. Stay in the shelter until the storm has passed. For the drill it is 5 minutes after the sirens first sound.
THERE IS NEVER AN “ALL CLEAR” SIREN. ANY SIRENS SOUNDED ARE WARNINGS OF CONTINUED DANGER OR NEW TORNADOS.
