PBPN COVID Case Count Update

The Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation is reporting the 10th confirmed case of COVID-19. The Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation Health Center has processed 1 new confirmed test and continues to work in partnership with the Jackson County Health Department to identify any potential contacts who may have been exposed.

Moving forward the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation will report any future cases through the Nation’s designated COVID-19 page, located under the “Community” link on the home page or can be accessed directly at www.pbpindiantribe.com/covid-19/.

If you think you have been exposed to COVID-19 and develop a fever and symptoms, such as a cough or difficulty breathing, call your healthcare provider for medical advice.

The Nation strongly encourages all individuals to practice physical and social distancing, wearing masks, frequent hand washing, and the use of alcohol-based hand sanitizer to limit the spread of COVID-19.

The Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation government is in the third phase of re-opening, with all PBPN government employees reporting to work and most buildings opening to the public since June 1, 2020.  All employees, vendors and guests are required to have their temperature taken prior to entering a building and are expected to wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
