Learning Language Fun

MAYETTA:  The Language Department is offering beginner and intermediate language classes this summer on Wednesday mornings and also holding classes on Monday evenings.

Language Night, held on Mondays from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., is being spiced up with classes on topics like learning the language and translating in Potawatomi basic body parts, colors and numbers.

Beginning language classes are held in the Language Department (basement of Firekeepers Elder Center) from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and for intermediate speakers from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Everyone is invited to come to the classes and students of all ages are welcome but those younger than school-age must be accompanied by an adult.
