Kids were rewarded for completing their class work with the Language Department last night with a visit to the Topeka zoo.
While visiting the various exhibits the kids used the words they had learned in Potawatomi.
This youngster got a close up view of one of the exhibits.

The Language Department would like to publicly thank all the parents in the community who let their children participate in the kids class for the past five weeks and the staff is looking forward to the teen classes that begin next Wednesday, Oct. 16, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Language Department.
