H1N1 and Seasonal Flu Vaccine Update from the Health Center

  • The Health Center has exhausted all of its seasonal flu vaccines EXCEPT for children ages 6 months to 3 years and that the Health Center has not received any H1N1 vaccines yet.

 

  • The Jackson County Health Department does have the H1N1 flu vaccine available and is dispensing it to pregnant women who are Jackson County residents today at the Senior Citizens building, 312 Pennsylvania in Holton, Kan. from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and for children(ages 2-9 years old)tomorrow who have no underlying illnesses and are healthy from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the same place.  The shots for pregnant women and nasal mist vaccines for children are free.
