Timothy Ray Tracy
April 14, 1971 – July 24, 2023

Timothy Ray Tracy, 52, passed away at his home in Topeka, Kansas on Monday, July 24, 2023.

A proud member of the Potawatomie Nation, Timothy (Tim) was born April 14, 1971 in Hiawatha, Kansas, the son of Jere Tracy and Bonnie (Tracy) Maschler. Tim lived with his grandmother, Mervene Tracy in White Cloud, Kansas before coming to live with Bonnie Maschler in Lincoln, Nebraska. Tim was born with Prune Belly Syndrome; a rare disease he battled with his entire life. Having endured nearly 60 surgeries in his lifetime, a kidney transplant, chronic pain, multiple years of dialysis, and later in life, cancer that was currently in remission. He is described by those who knew him as “the strongest man they have ever known”. He was a talented video creator and artist who had an obsession with hats, and has quite the collection.

Tim’s greatest love was his dogs. Having owned, loved and cared for multiple dogs in his lifetime. In his final years, Tim came to find an even greater love in Dellene Williamson. It was this love that brought Tim to peace.

Tim is survived by his girlfriend Dellene Williamson, Topeka, KS; his precious pups, Susie and Frank; his father Jere Tracy of White Cloud, KS; siblings Kari Tyree (Dave Churnesky) of Lake Hubbard, MI, Traci Wykert of Kansas City, MO, DeAnn Cluck of St. Joe, MO, Julie Bayless (Shaun Bayless) of Lake Havasu City, AZ, Jason Vietz (Brandee Vietz) of Liberty, MO and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by mother Bonnie (Tracy) Maschler and sister Kelli Wykert.
A celebration of life was held on August 25th at the home of Jere Tracy in White Cloud, KS. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Tim’s name to the National Prune Belly Syndrome Association at https://prunebelly.org
