Robert F. Baker
April 20, 1964 – January 3, 2024

Robert F. Baker (Maqua Bear / Bobby), 59, of Topeka, KS passed away on January 3, 2024. He was born on April 10, 1964 in Manhattan, Kansas to Robert S. and Minnie Lewis Baker. He was the youngest of three children and proud member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi tribe. Whether sharing stories around the fire or participating in tribal ceremonies, Bobby’s presence was big and a source of inspiration. Known for his warm smile and kind heart, Bobby was a lifetime artist. His artwork reflected his passion for his culture, the outdoors and vibrant skylines. May each beautiful sunset remind us of him. A private memorial will be held by the family. Davidson Funeral is making the arrangements and Bobby’s ashes will be spread at Our Lady of the Snows Church. Rest in peace, dear Bobby. Your spirit will forever dance among the sacred winds of the Potawatomi lands.
