Naomi J. “Din” Masquat
October 2, 1971 – January 7, 2022

Naomi J. “Din” Masquat, 50, of Mayetta, KS, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, KS. She was born October 2, 1971 in Holton, KS, the daughter of Curtis P. “Nin-We” Masquat and Julia K. Harrison.

Din graduated from Royal Valley High School in 1990. She worked at Member Services for Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation, a clerk at the gift shop at the Prairie Band Casino and was currently working for Nelson’s Retail in Mayetta.

Din was a member of Drum Religion and Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation.

She was preceded by her parents, Curtis P. “Nin-We” Masquat and Julia K. Harrison.

Survivors include her son, Jerald Cadue (Rockell) of Hoyt, KS; 2 daughters, Cass Cadue of Mayetta, KS and Jewel Cadue of Horton, KS; 3 sisters, Angela “Jubby” Masquat and Josie “Mitchi” Masquat both of Mayetta, KS and Janelle “Zahwee” Masquat of Lawrence, KS; brother, Elliot Wah Masquat of Mayetta, KS and 5 grandchildren, Marleigh, David, Harrison, Mayme and Julia.

Graveside Service was held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Masquat Cemetery (7510 182nd Rd, Mayetta). To leave a special message for the family, please visit www.mercerfuneralhomes.com.
