TOHATCHI, NM – Funeral Services for Jay Levier, 41, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2016, at the Tohatchi United Pentecostal Church. Martine Eastridge will officiate. Burial will be on a Halona family plot in Tohatchi, NM.
Levier was born May 7, 1975, in Lawton, Oklahoma, into the Keepers of the Fire People Clan.
Levier was a family man and loved his wife and children. He attended the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe. Levier was a talented artist and loved the outdoors, loved fishing and was always helping others.
Survivors include his wife Delaine Levier; sons Marcellus Levier and Zavier Levier; daughters Aiyana Levier and Jaelyn Levier; and sisters Carmen Levier and Cherise Levier. He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur M. Levier Jr. and Ruth E. Levier, brother Clinton Levier and daughter Aschley Levier.
Pallbearers will be Michael King, David Guedea, Anthony Lopez, Steven Plummer, Nicholas Conway and Mark Conway.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Tohatchi Chapter House.
