Janell Louise Cadue
(February 26, 1955 – October 2, 2009)

Janell”Wa-be-no-quah” Louise Cadue, 54, of Horton, Kansas passed away on Friday, October 2, 2009 at her home. She was born on February 26, 1955 in Holton, Kansas the daughter of John & Marjorie Keesis Pahmahmie. Janell worked as a secretary for the Kickapoo Tribe and was a member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Tribe. On September 3, 1984 she married Wesley Cadue in Horton, Kansas he survives of the home. Other survivors include two daughters, Thomasine Pahmahmie-Arteaga of Topeka, Kansas and Brandi Cadue of Raleigh, North Carolina; two sons, Timothy Pahmahmie & Travis Cadue both of Horton, Kansas; mother, Marjorie Pahmahmie of Horton, Kansas, two sisters, Darlene Shuckahosee of Mayetta, Kansas and Henrietta Brown of Tama, Iowa; one brother, James Pahmahmie of Horton, Kansas; four grandchildren; four adopted sisters, Nancy Smartlowit of Yakima, Washington, Ashlyn Conklin, Kira Conklin and Kizzie Conklin all of Horton, Kansas; one adopted brother, Rudy Keo of Horton, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her father, a brother, Timothy Pahmahmie and adopted father, Thomas Conklin Jr. Drum Services will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 4, 2009 at Kickapoo Community Building.
