Benjamin F. Nioce

TOPEKA- Benjamin Franklin “Mzhickteno” Nioce, 56, of Topeka, KS, passed away Friday, November 15, 2019, after complications with diabetes. He was born July 17, 1963, in Holton, KS, the son of Donald Eugene Nioce and Myra Lee Matchie.

Ben graduated from Royal Valley High School in 1981and had attended a few years of college. He proudly served in the United States Army for 4 years; soon after high school.

He worked as an over the road truck driver for various companies; he retired in 2010.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Judy Ray, of the home; 3 step-children, Steven Bouton, Melissa Bouton and Shawna Ray all of Topeka; 3 sisters, Ruta Mendez of Holton, Marji Heim of Topeka and Donna Nioce-Ramirez of Hiawatha; a brother, Raymond D. Nioce of Holton, KS and 10 grand-children, Dominick Ray, Brittni Grogg, Qamauara Evans, Breonna Bouton, Anthony Whitford, Blake Bouton, Kayce Prchal, Joseph Bouton, Tena Bouton and Rhayn Counts.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Paul A. Lawrence and Sam Barrow.
