Angelia Riley Obituary

TOPEKA, KS – Angelia Wishteyah Riley, 35, of Topeka, died Friday, September 28, 2019, in Kansas City, KS.

She was born March 22, 1984, in Topeka, the daughter of Juan Hernandez and Lisa Wishteyah. She graduated from Beloit High School and attended Brown Mackie Business School in Salina.

Angelia was a member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation and the Native American Religion.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Rachel Mae Wishteyah.

Survivors include her mother, Lisa Wishteyah, Topeka, her father, Juan Hernandez, Salina, two sons, Michael Wishteyah and Gabriel Wishteyah, both of Topeka, three daughters, Alanna Wishteyah, Alayiah Wishteyah and Isabella Wishteyah, all of Topeka; two brothers, Thunder Wright, Lawrence and Juan Wishteyah, Topeka, and one sister, Melissa Wishteyah, Topeka.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 4th at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hoyt. Wake services will be Saturday evening at the Native American Church. Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Sunday in the O’Bennick Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at chapeloaksfuneralhome.com.
