The four tribes of Kansas met yesterday at the Sac and Fox Nation of Missouri community building in Reserve, Kan. Attending from the Prairie Band were Steve Ortiz (far left) and Carrie O’Toole and Mark Dodd (not pictured). Among items discussed at the meeting were those on Indian health and gaming, and the recent election. A presentation was also made by two representatives from the Region VII Child Welfare Program, Kansas City, Kan.
