Election Board, Employee Disputes Tribunal Members Sworn-In

11.30.23 — Chairman Joseph “Zeke” Rupnick (left) officiated the swearing-in ceremony for (left to right)  Gea Aitkens, Cecelia “Shobwas” Ceja and Leonard Allen.

Today during a brief ceremony, Cecelia “Shobwas” Ceja was sworn in as the newest member of the Election Board; Gea Aitkens and Leonard Allen were sworn in as new members of the Employee Disputes Tribunal. PBPN Tribal Chairman Joseph “Zeke” Rupnick officiated the swearing-in.

The Election Board is a General Council Committee of the Tribal Council and conducts tribal elections in accordance with the provisions of the Election Ordinance.

The Employee Disputes Tribunal provides employees of the Nation’s Tribal Government, including the Gaming Commission and the Judicial Council, with a forum to resolve Tribal government employment-related disputes as defined in Title 22, Employment Code of the Law & Order of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation.
