MAYETTA: The Community Story Tree premiere, held at jones huyett Partners Agency last Friday night, was a big success with approximately 150 people attending the unveiling. Among them was U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom who was photographed with some of the artists that participated in the project.
Over the next three weeks the Story Tree will become a traveling exhibit with stops at Iowa Tribe of Kansas & Nebraska, Sac & Fox Nation, and Kickapoo Tribe in Kansas for showings before it is brought back to the Prairie Band Potawatomi Common Landwhere plans are to install it in a permanent location.
