Block Party Returns with More Fun, Games, and Community

PBPN Social Services and Housing hosted the 2nd Annual Community Block Party yesterday, June 15, 2023, at the Community Building on Pheasant Run. The two-hour event provided free food, games, and door prizes for attendees, as well as information and outreach materials on Social Services and Housing.

The Block Party was a hit when it was held for the first time in 2022, and this year the community was treated to even more activities, including a water fountain sprayed from one of Tribal Fire’s firetrucks, additional outdoor games like cornhole, water sprayers, and giant versions of table games.

It was a nice, sunny day for the Block Party, especially for those who took advantage of Tribal Fire’s water fountain. Since most of the activities were held outside on the grass or parking area this year, people who wanted to escape the sun were able to sit inside the Community Building to cool off or just relax while eating and visiting with each other.

With the Block Party proving to be a successful and popular social event for a second year in a row, community members can look forward to more Block Parties and other similar events in the future.
