PBPN Chairman Joseph “Zeke” Rupnick, Council Member Raphael J. Wahwassuck and other members of the Kansas Advisory Council for Indigenous Education Working Group addressed the Kansas State Board of Education during the Boards meeting on October11, 2022. The information they presented was concerning the impact of Native American imagery used as school mascots.
