The 2020 Census counts every person living in the United States and five U.S. territories. Once the invitation arrives, you should respond for your home in one of three ways:
- Online – use your CensusID and complete the info online
- Phone – Use your CensusID and call in your information toll-free: 844-330-2020
- Mail – You will receive materials in your mailbox or a packet placed on your doorstep, complete and return by mail.
When you respond to the census, you’ll tell the Census Bureau where you live as of April 1, 2020, – “Census Day.”
