Tosha Wilson – Gaming Commissioner Candidate

Bosho,

My name is Tosha Wilson, I am running for Gaming Commissioner #2.

I have 23 years of work experience, making me well versed with rules and regulations. I am well informed of the work that the Gaming Commission does. I have served as a gaming inspector for 5 years. I have direct experience with fraud management, compliance and processes. I am ready to ensure that our Nation’s enterprise continues to adhere to the rules and regulations of a successful operation.

I am a proud member of the nation and community, raising my family here on the reservation for the last 20 years. I am the great granddaughter of Jesse and Dora Keesis from my mother’s side, Dawn Masqua, and Gertrude Moore from Gary Wilson. During this time, I’ve shown my commitment to the community by serving on the Early Childhood Education Center Policy Council for 5 years. I have participated in Language Leaming for 14 years, an active member with our community events, our traditions and ceremonies. My Children are active with sports, members of the Boys and Girls club, and participate in the Singers and Dancers club with the Royal Valley school district.

I understand the importance and value the casino plays in helping to conduct our Peoples vision for our inherent sovereignty as a tribal nation. I am willing to serve.

23 years of robust work experience.

16 years at the casino, 6 years of customer service prior to casino experience. Casino experience: Gift Shop, Hotel, Casino Cashier, Revenue Audit Clerk.

5 years as a Gaming Inspector, and currently an on-call inspector.

2 years with the Enrollment Department. Currently serving as the Enrollment Specialist.

My strengths are that I am an outgoing person, able to communicate with anyone. Knowledge of the daily operations of PBCR. I uphold the vision statement of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation.
