PBPN Suspends July General Council Meeting

6.30.20

Dear Tribal Members;

After careful consideration and for the members’ safety, Tribal Council has decided to suspend the July General Council meeting until further notice.

For the past several weeks we have been monitoring infection rates in the State and due to continued cases here and elsewhere, we must take this emergency action for the protection of the members and community.  This morning on the national news, Kansas was one of the top ten states increasing in COVID -19 cases since opening and while few have maintained precautions as recommended by health officials, we can only expect infection rates to increase.

Again, the July General Council meeting is suspended and when Tribal Council feels it is safe to assemble, we will schedule a meeting as soon as possible.  We thank you for your understanding and pray our members remain safe.
