Vernon Nanaeto

Vernon Nanaeto, 83, passed away on May 7, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on September 3, 1941, in Mcloud, Oklahoma.
A proud United States Air Force veteran, Vernon later became a CDL truck driver, traveling across the country with pride and purpose. He and his beloved wife, Rosie, shared a passion for ballroom dancing, a joy they cherished together throughout their lives.
Vernon was a devoted Oklahoma Sooners football fan. While living in Casa Grande, Arizona, he could often be found cheering on his team at the local OU fan joint, Backyards. He also cherished the game of golf, finding joy and relaxation on the greens whenever and wherever he had the chance.
Vernon is survived by his children, Kevin Nanaeto and Janae Hilton (husband David Hilton); his grandchildren, Haleigh Harrison (husband Tyler Harrison), Gracie Nanaeto, Katie Hilton, Christie Hilton, and James Nanaeto; and his great-grandchild, Liam Harrison. He is also survived by many loving family members and dear friends.
Services were held 5/13/2025 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 5750 S Elm Pl, Broken Arrow, OK 74011. The service was at 10:00am. Pastor John Wilde presiding.
