November is recognized as Native American Heritage Month. The Prairie Band Potawatomi Language & Culture department would like to celebrate in our own way throughout the week of November 14th–18th. We are inviting everyone to participate and show your Potawatomi pride!
Each day will be a different theme day:
Nov. 14
Miśhatsowėn Monday…wear your Nïshnabe or fancy clothes
Nov. 15
Mkïśnėn Tuesday…Rock your Mocs OR Rock your Crocs
Nov. 16
Waśewak Wednesday…wear orange
Nov. 17
Buy Native…wear an article of clothing or jewelry from
a Native owned business**
Nov. 18
Meskwak Friday…wear red

**With the Buy Native Initiative we are asking for local and/or Prairie Band Potawatomi members nationwide to let us know how to find your merchandise online.
