The Prairie Band Potawatomi Tribal Police Department will be hosting two fitting station sessions to educate community members on car seat safety and distribute car seats.
The first fitting session will take place on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 2pm-6pm at the Tribal Police Department located at 16344 Q Road, Mayetta, KS 66509. The second fitting session will occur on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 2pm to 6pm at the same location.
This will be on a first come first serve basis. Each car seat distributed will take approximately 30 minutes of installation and education to parent/care taker. New car seats will only be distributed to tribal members in need of a new car seat, but everyone is welcome to attend and have a safety inspection of their current car seat.
What you need to bring to car seat fitting station:
• Tribal Enrollment Card
• Child that will use the car seat
• Vehicle the car seat will be installed
