The Prairie Band Potawatomi Tribal Police Department will be hosting a fitting station to educate community members on car seat safety and distribute car seats. The fitting session will take place on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 2pm-6pm at the Tribal Police Department located at 16344 Q Road, Mayetta, KS 66509.
This will be on a first come first serve basis. Each car seat distributed will take approximately 30 minutes of installation and education to parent/care taker. New car seats will only be distributed to tribal members in need of a new car seat, but everyone is welcome to attend and have a safety inspection of their current car seat.
What you need to bring to car seat fitting station:
- Tribal Enrollment Card
- Child that will use the car seat
- Vehicle the car seat will be installed
