Firekeeper Golf Course

The 18-hole golf course is located across the street from the Prairie Band Casino & Resort at 12524 150 Road.  PGA golfer Notah Begay designed the course along with Jeff Brauer who is well known for his use of the natural environment in golf design.

Mayetta Oil Company

Mayetta Oil Company owned by the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation is a mid-sized propane retail operation located in Mayetta, Kansas. The company currently employs a manager, two full-time drivers, and a receptionist.

Mayetta Oil provides propane to over1,500 customers that are primarily in the Holton/Mayetta area. Mayetta Oil Company operates out of Mayetta and delivers gas in four major counties: Jackson, Shawnee, Jefferson and Douglas.

The company was acquired by the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation on August 23, 2005 and has seen consistent increase in customers and commercial accounts.

Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Prairie Band Construction, Inc.

Prairie Band Construction, Inc. is a construction services commercial general contracting business that began October, 2009.   It focuses on off-reservation projects and those set aside for minority contractors.  Projects have included interior renovations of office buildings in Topeka, Kan. and providing labor for the installation of geothermal systems in buildings on the reservation.  The new start-up business has an office located in the PBPN Government Center alongside the Construction Maintenance Department and the new enterprise also includes a mentoring arrangement with Kendall Construction Company of Topeka, Kan.  The business is guided by a board of directors.

Hours of operation are 8 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Prairie Band Health Services, Inc.

Prairie Band Health Services, Inc. is a healthcare staffing company that specializes in providing services to military, veteran's administration and tribal health centers.  It is designed to recruit and place qualified healthcare employees to work in military, veteran's administration and tribal health centers.

The new business is a joint venture between the Nation and CRAssociates that formerly manged the PBP Health Center.  The combined years of experience of both groups offers an expertise in the knowledge, support systems and desire to solve complex health care delivery problems.  Through the use of progressive management techniques, attention to detail, and ability to execute and implement, Prairie Band Health Services, Inc. can provide the leadership and management support required for successful health care delivery systems.
