October is here already, and here is what we are planning this month: October 5 ---- ICC Meeting @ 1:00 in the conference room October 17 ---- Policy Council @ 2:00 in the conference room October 17 & 18 ---- No Head Start or Preschool for Parent Conferences October 22-26 ---- Red Ribbon Week, activities as follows: Monday: Drug and Alcohol Program will hand out goody bags, and each child will trace around their hand and their teachers will place them at the Family Health Center, with the statement "Hand in hand let's take a stand!" Tuesday: Put a Cap on Drugs, and wear a red or crazy hat today. Wednesday: Turn your Back on Drugs, wear your clothes backwards day. Thursday: Sock it to Drugs and Give Drugs a Slip, wear crazy socks and slippers, also Decorate door/department contest. Friday: Wear Red Day--Show your support for a drug free community by wearing something red.
