Reverse Osmosis Plant
Burns and McDonnell Engineers and the Nation partnered in 2003 to conduct a water study on the Potawatomi reservation. Test wells were conducted and accompanied with water studies to identify adequate water resources for the Nation. This project was initiated to develop the Nation’s own Reverse Osmosis Plant that will provide and supply clean water to the Reservation and surrounding areas. Currently, the Nation is in the design engineering phase of developing the water treatment plant with construction scheduled to commence in July 2008. Operation of the water treatment facility will be in early 2009.
