Diabetes Program
The Prairie Band Potawatomi Health Center currently operates a number of projects designed to reduce the burden and incidence of diabetes among our patients: the Special Diabetes Program for Indians (SDPI); the Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP); and the KDHE Diabetes and Hypertension Quality of Care programs.
Each year we present a diabetes education conference for Native Americans with diabetes, their family members, and those at risk for developing diabetes.
