The Prairie Band Potawatomi "Nation's Station" opened its doors on September 30, 1999, and is part of the economic infrastructure of the reservation. Its customer base is comprised of visitors to the gaming operations, non-resident reservation workers and residents of the reservation. The operation is a modern 8,400 square foot convenience store constructed at a cost of $1.4 million. The trade area of the Nation's Station is typical of a C-Store, a one-to-two-mile radius. It has 10 employees and is open 6:30 am - 10:30 pm Sunday thru Thursday; 6:30 am - 11:30 pm Friday and Saturday. For more information call (785) 966-2917.
